  • detroit contemporary

    detroit contemporary is a member owned and directed arts organization that operates a professional contemporary art gallery and performance space at the Chalfonte House in Detroit. detroit contemporary also provides artist residencies in Detroit, Elk Rapids and Torch Lake, Michigan.

  • Detroit Broadcasting Co.

    DBC is a member owned and operated media production and broadcasting company. DBC will build and operate a live 24 hour internet broadcast stream and on demand video and audio content produced by members, beneficiaries, sponsors, partners, and affiliates of the Chalfonte Foundation.

  • Earthly Wilds Farm

    Earthly Wilds Farm operate a vegetable farm at the Chalfonte’s Ryan Giannini Park in Torch Lake, Michigan. The farm is a completely off-grid educational homestead. Currently selling organic vegetables at Antrim County farmers’ markets, Earthly Wilds will soon be providing nutritious and healthy food for attendees of Camp Chalfonte.

  • artPod, Inc.

    artPod, Inc. is a prefab design and construction company of stand alone artist studios and tiny off-grid homesteads. Designs are ready to order and construction begins fall of 2023.

  • Kind Cafe and Moon Bar

    Kind Cafe and Moon Bar is a cafe, piano lounge and traditional coffee house opening spring of 2023. The cafe will serve organic breads, soups, salads, desserts and beverages that include locally sourced and fair trade ingredients.

  • Ferry Park Theater for the Performing Arts

    Ferry Park Theater will be an outdoor neighborhood theater hosting productions by local and traveling theater and dance companies, singer songwriters and musical groups.
